Every roll leaving our European workshops is printed for you, to your dimensions, on the substrate you’ve chosen. Here’s what happens between your order and delivery — and what the law says about returning custom-made goods.
Your order journey.
- Day 1 — Confirmation
You receive an immediate confirmation email after payment. An advisor reviews your project (dimensions, substrate, accessories) for consistency.
- Day 2 — Digital proof
For large-format custom wallpapers, you receive a digital preview to validate within 24 hours. Any comments are taken into account before printing.
- Days 3-5 — Production
Printing with water-based ink (water-based, solvent-free) in a European partner workshop, 24-hour drying, visual quality control on every strip.
- Days 5-7 — Delivery
Dispatch via DPD Express in metropolitan France — fully tracked package. You receive a tracking link as soon as it’s handed off.

All samples are shipped free of charge in France.
Custom products (printed wallpaper)
Wallpapers printed to your dimensions are produced specifically for you. In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made goods.
However, we guarantee:
- Conformity to your validated proof — if production differs from your approved proof, we reprint at no cost.
- Production defect (incorrect printing, missing strip, visible defect) — report within 48 h of receipt, we reprint at no cost.
- Shipping damage — refuse the package on delivery if the box is damaged; we resend new production.
Standard products (rolls, accessories)
For unit rolls of wallpaper, glues, installation tools and samples, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code).
To exercise this right:
- Notify us by email at sales@maisondrapee.com within 14 days of receipt.
- Send the product back in its original packaging, unused, to the returns address (communicated by email).
- Refund within 14 days after we receive the return, via the same payment method.
Return shipping at customer’s expense unless we’re at fault. Damaged or used products: refund refused.
Legal conformity warranty.
Beyond the 14 days, you benefit from the 2-year legal conformity warranty (Article L217-3 of the French Consumer Code). For defects affecting product quality (faded print, abnormal lifting, etc.), we cover repair or replacement.
